By now, you probably realize that your buddy Chris loves all the girls — skinny, BBW, blonde, brunette, redhead, Anglo, Latina, black, Asian, redhead, young, mature, redhead, you name it. Even redheads. So if ever your site gets less than perfect marks, ladies, it almost certainly isn’t your fault. I’ve got nothing but respect and admiration for all you wonderful girls, because you’ve got, ahem, certain assets that I don’t, and you’re not afraid to show ‘em off. No ma’am, if your site fails to twiddle my joystick, it’s because of the site, not you. In fact, many a site I’ve checked out has been saved from reviewer oblivion by the pretty pretty girls who perform there.

Nope, I’m much more likely to gripe about the site’s lack of free teaser chat or its technical problems — does AmsterdamliveXXX ring any bells? Or if the chickadees are a little too pushy about going private, I’ll freely tell you that, too; see my Asianbabecam review for an example. Well, ya know what? This new site all the cool kids are going to, 247live, falls pretty much near both ALX and ABC on my bitchy-review continuum. As you know, my site’s reason for existence is free teaser chat and related features. There’s hardly any of either on 247live. If fact, there’s hardly anything at all, so far.

But before I get too far into my bitch session, allow me to introduce you to Kitty. Hello, Kitty.

Too Little of This, Too Much of That

All righty then, back to the gripy-gripy. What you see in the above picture is just about what you get. While I was visiting, there were never more than three girls available, and most of the time there was only one, and you’re looking at her. Come on, now. The site claims 120 — so where are they? Yeah, I know they’re from all over the globe, mostly from Eastern Europe, and it’s probably pretty late there by the time I do my best viewing. But there ought to be some effort made to even out the scheduling, at least until they’re so overwhelmed with models that it doesn’t matter. So I’m a little cranky from the git-go because there’s not much woman-flesh to ogle. No trace of true nudity, of course; this isn’t Secretfriends, after all. Ratchet up the crankiness meter.

Once you find a young lady, though, you can chat with her by entering your nickname and clicking “Connect.” You can also enter your email addy, if you want to get a free newsletter.

However, she may not want to talk to you; the two girls I checked out seemed rather non-communicative, and one wouldn’t even talk with you if you weren’t a member. That kinda sucks; I wonder if most of the girls are like that? Well, I didn’t have time to wait around and find out.

Here’s another criticism for you to enjoy: each chat girl has a “keeper” that’s always “whispering” things to you while you try to chat. That is, they’re always sending out little messages suggesting you purchase more credits, or ask the girl to go to private, or become a member because, hey, you don’t get these annoying little messages when you’re a member! So much for “free teaser chat” — it’s more like “free annoy chat.” It wakes me yearn for the begging the girls at Asianbabecam tend to do; at least that’s not constant.

So You Want Details…

Sadly, I can’t really recommend 247live. It’s OK, but the site selection is too limited, and worse, the site is annoying. That’s death when it comes to free teaser chat, as far as I’m concerned. If I want annoying, I’ll watch a Gilbert Gottfried clip on YouTube. To be fair, the selection will probably become much better as the site grows into itself. If they’re smart, they’ll get ride of the keepers, too.

The video isn’t all that good right now, either. The quality is acceptable, but you end up with the same jerky mess that you get in a lot of the lower-quality cam girl sites. More annoying still, every minute or so the video blips out and goes to a “Sign Up and Get Free Credits!” page, as you can see from the second graphic above. The free credits they’re talking about are 30 minutes worth of one-on-one with your favorite girl, and I suppose that’s not so bad. As for normal chat credits, you can buy them in a variety of ways: credit cards, CCBill, Epassporte, telephone billing, check, or MoneyGram. Their one-on-one credits can be had for about a dollar each, which is nice. You get an even better deal if you pay by Epassporte (a type of online Visa card). Not only do you get extra credits, you get a free lifetime membership too — so even those girls who won’t talk to you unless you’re a member will still talk to you even if you don’t have any credits! Woohoo!

The final verdict: I can’t give the site more than 2 out of 5 stars, at least as it exists now. Once it builds up its model list, I may take another look. Remember, ladies, it’s not your fault — Chris still loves you!
