I gotta say it: Dutch girls are just plain beautiful, and if the thumbnails at camsolo.nl are anything to judge by, they’re pretty darn uninhibited, too. It’s enough to make me want to catch a flight to the Netherlands right away and check out the girls in person. Being a little short of cash this week, however, I concluded that it was a better idea to look into free teaser chat and, hopefully, free video. That decided, I proceeded to jump right in.

Well, I proceeded to try, anyway.

Camsolo.nl proclaims on some of its pages that it has “De beste live sex cams!” Well, au contraire, mon frere. Or, as we like to say in my hometown, my ass! But to be fair, I couldn’t really tell for sure. It appears that your pal Chris will never know much about this site, because the bastards wouldn’t let me in.

Once you navigate to the camsolo.nl site, you find that it’s really pretty much a portal to a bunch of other sites, some pay, some not: Amateur Girls, Voyeur Camera, Live Sex, and other links are included on the left side of the page. I’ve got no problem with that, especially since they also offer tantalizing images of hot-looking girls in various fascinating poses on the right side of the page. The fact that I’ve had to censor some of the images in the graphic below, in order to keep this review clean enough for public viewing, ought to give you some idea of what they promise.

The girls looked like they might be hotter-to-trot than the chicklets at Secretfriends — who, as you may know, will get naked at the drop of a hat (any hat). Anyway, here’s how it’s supposed to work at camsolo.nl. To see anything more than the teaser thumbnails, you have to sign up to get a free membership. You do that by entering the nickname you want to go by, plus your email address for verification. Then they send you a password so you can get started. No big deal — other sites do the same, and even Flirt4free, another one of my favorites, does something similar. The problem was that I never received my password, which was supposed to get there immediately. I signed up three times, using two different email addresses and two different computers, and waited an hour or more each time for my access password to appear in my inbox. (Fortunately, there are a lot of other sites that have free teaser chat and are easier to access, so I had plenty to do).

No dice. Never got any of my passwords. Still haven’t. Any yes, I checked my bulk mail folders and killfiles.

Working With What I Got

You see my dilemma here. By now you’re probably asking yourself, “But how can poor Chris review a site properly if he can’t access it?” Well, exactly. But I can’t let that stop me; I’m on a mission here. The fact is, there’s one feature that’s available without signing up, and that’s their Free Video Preview. Great, I thought. At least there’s free teaser video; maybe I can catch some action! Once you’re on the sign-up page, you just click an image in the scrolling set of thumbnails at the bottom of the screen and there ya go — free preview.

With the exception of sites like Flirt4Free, free teaser video does not last forever. I can live with that. I can even live with annoying reminders to buy chat credits. What I don’t like is this BS:

OK, so FREE PREVIEW covers up part of the action; I’m good at getting around stuff like that, or at least working with it. I’ve been using this here interweb thingie since most of the models on camsolo.nl (or anywhere else) were in diapers, or at least since they were in junior high. But you know how long the FREE PREVIEW actually lasts? Ten seconds. It was nice to see SexySuzie’s dildo and all, but I was hardly able to register where she was putting it before the video ended. Oh, you can click the image again and try to get another peek — and that’s all it is — but you can’t get in again; all you get is a boring ad for an amateur girls site. Bah, humbug. You can, however, catch a glimpse of another online girl.

The Bitter End

The long and short of it is, I couldn’t properly review this site, because it wouldn’t let me; I never got any of three passwords that I applied for. That’s a bad business model, boys and girls. Maybe they get all their money from the side sites they’re a portal for; no telling. In any case, while camsolo.nl may have good free teaser chat (which I doubt, from what I was able to access), there was no way for me to tell. If you want teaser chat or video, steer clear of camsolo.nl. It’s just not worth the trouble.
