Let’s cut right to the chase, shall we? While Desire2Cam is a well-put-together site that could potentially be described with adjectives like “exciting,” “alluring,” “intriguing,” and even “well-stocked,” the sad truth is that the best adjective that describes it is “disappointing.” Oh, and there’s “boring,” too. Desire2Cam is a terribly good-looking site with a lot of potential, but that potential is currently going to waste. It’s a lot like 247live and 2lips in that way. Here’s what I mean about the potential:

What Can I Say?

You know, I have a tendency to become sarcastic when I get disappointed. In especially upsetting cases, I might go sardonic or, heaven forbid, ironic. While this may delight some of my readers, not to mention me when I’m in the mood, it can be hard to work up a real good mad when you’re forced to toil so consistently uphill. Sites like Desire2Cam just make me tired. There’s so much that could have been done here, but wasn’t — or isn’t now, at least. I don’t know if this something that’s affected the site from its beginnings, or what; I remember taking a look about five months ago, and it was worse than it is now. Back then, I couldn’t find anyone to chat with. Now there’s usually a few chickies online. Either traffic has gotten a tad better, or I’ve just lucked out lately. I’m still not sure if this is an old site on the decline, or a new one that just hasn’t built up a customer base yet. Well, let me tell you a secret, Desire2Cam. Gather round now.

Here it is: you’re never going to build a customer base if you don’t have a decent number of girls fired up and ready to go at any time of the day or night. Sure, you might have to spend a few bucks before you get a payback, but hey, that’s the way business work anywhere. You have to prime the pump a little.

Is There or Isn’t There?

Actually there is, but it’s spread thinner than I’d like. Instead of zero girls online, as there used to be, in recent days there have usually been three or four, as you can see here.

The girls online are the ones at the top with underlined names. N=4, in this case. Well, that’s something — but frankly, for a site that had hundreds of girls signed up, that’s pretty crappy. Five or ten percent I could understand, but one or two? Jeez. Obviously, there’s a serious lack of marketing on the part of the Desire2Cam site-owners. Here’s the deal. Desire2Cam looks good, and when there’s someone online, you can actually get some fun, free video chat happening. The problem is that there’s rarely anyone to talk to.
