For those of us who relish free teaser chat, there’s nothing quite like finding a big new site that offers it. Not only do you get the freeness that you so desire, you also have a large new roster of ladies to experiment with. That’s why I so enjoyed my recent discovery of Passioncams. It’s so much larger and well stocked than all those li’l sites we’ve been visiting lately, like LiveSexyDolls and LiveWebDate. Not that there’s anything wrong with small sites, necessarily, especially when they’re new and just getting off the launch pad; in the words of the great Alan Jackson, it’s all right to be little bitty. But it’s nice to go to a site, any time of the day or night, and actually find someone online and ready for some action, dontcha know. Welcome to PassionCams.

Those Questions Again

Any rabid reader of this site knows that while interesting offerings, extra effort, and unusual presentation always get extra points with me, what I’m really interested in are two things, two questions I always ask and try to answer during the course of a review. They are: 1) Is there free teaser chat and/or video? And 2) Do the girls get naked? Sometimes the answer is as disappointing No and No, but then again sometimes it’s Yes and Yes — and in the case of sites like Flirt4Free and PrivateFeeds, the girls are sometimes so nastily erotic, even in free chat, that I exit the session shaking and really, really wanting a cigarette — which is weird, since I don’t smoke. (If you don’t know what I mean by “nastily erotic,” try searching my reviews for the term “three-finger slide”).

Usually the results are in-between somewhere, and that’s the case with PassionCams. There’s free chat for sure but it’s limited only to a few minutes, and I never saw any nudity at all. Happily, however, many of the girls are quite explicit in their thumbnail pics, which not only makes my heart go pitter-pat, but leads me to believe that they would be nice and sexy in any live pay session. Passioncams has other things going for it too: it’s got over 1,200 performers on its roster, so as I mentioned earlier, there are always at least a few dozen girls on line. It’s also got a few couples, of both girl/girl and girl/boy persuasion, though the former seem to dominate (not that I’m complaining). There were a few guys available too, but as I’m partial to the hole rather than the pole, I didn’t pay much attention to them. Most of the girls, by the by, are white, with a few Asians and a very few blacks and Latinas thrown in for flavor.

Memberships and pricing

Here’s something else that makes me fond of Passioncams: they don’t try to rip you off with some cheesy monthly subscription or membership just so you can look at their girls. Membership is free, as long as you give them your username and email address; they’ll send you a free password to start you up. If you do decide to give them your credit card and marketing info, it’s an easy and straightforward process using either Visa or MasterCard. In fact, they’ll give you $10 bucks worth of free credit if you’re willing to let them verify your card; they don’t even ask that you join at that point. If you do make a purchase, they’ll give you ten bucks on top of whatever increment you choose: $29.95, $49.95, $79.95, $99.95, $129.95, and $149.95.

While I thought the pay sessions were expensive, for the industry I suppose they’re not so bad. I mean, this isn’t ExtasyCams, but you can get some lovin’ for as little as $1.49 a minute, and I didn’t see any prices over $2.99 a minute. That seems to fall in the middling range for adult chat these days, so no harm no foul, I guess.

Technical Doodads

I wasn’t too disappointed with the technical aspects of Passioncams, either. Unlike some sites we could name, it doesn’t take over your computer resources and hold them hostage while you’re on the site. Navigation was easy, and so was transferring from one host to another. I could have asked for some better lighting and video quality, but it was broadband and usually pretty good, and hey, ya can’t have it all.

One thing I missed on Passioncams was a way to filter the girls by type. They have a search function, but you can only search on names and descriptions, which isn’t so handy. A site this large needs to have a way for users to be specific about the type of girl they’re looking for — white, black, Latina, Asian, blonde, brunette, slim, BBW, young, mature, etc. All these performer types are available on Passioncams, but sometimes you have to hunt to find them. Please, Passioncams! Make it easier to find the meaty Latin thighs and sexy mamas and all the other girl types we crave!

Ahem. Moving Right Along.

Here’s my take on Passioncams: it’s a darn good site, but it’s not quite to great yet. The layout is simple and logical, there are lots of performers, and many of the girls are pleasing to the eye, but it could use much more free time; right now, it’s just too limited. There’s also the the limited depth of selection (not enough Latinas and ladies of color) and the lack of a way to filter the performers by type. But those are minor nits easily picked, so here’s what you should do: once you’re finished here, go over to Passioncams and jump right in. You might find enough there to put it on your faves list, despite the general lack of free.
